Climbing

I’m sure you’ve heard life being compared to climbing a mountain before. It’s a great analogy as life is most definitely full of good times (mountain tops) and difficult times (valleys), as well as some struggles (the climb up the mountain) to get out of the difficult times (reaching the summit of the mountain).

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

Isaiah 54:10 (NIV)

God is with us throughout our life, during the good and bad, happy and sad times. Put your trust in Him while you climb your mountain today, and reach out and take his outstretched hand He is offering you.

  1. Great post. Great reminder that God’s hand is always outstretched for us to take hold of. I took his hand and he has completely changed my life. I gave up womanising and alcohol and now have a job and a roof over my head. I couldn’t have done this without God’s help. Thank you Lord for taking my hand.
