What kind of week or weeks have you had?
If you’ve been having particularly busy weeks or working particularly hard or long hours, it can be tempting to try and fill your weekends or day’s off with all the things that you’ve not have time to do during when you’ve been busy. However if you do that you’re in danger to making your weekends/time off just as intense and busy as your week or working days. So instead of trying to fit in everything you can’t do while you’re working or busy, that you end up having no time to rest, relax and recharge your life, and that is something we all should do.
So here’s some suggestions to rest, relax and recharge
- Turn off the TV and your laptop and just sit in a quiet room and read.
- Sit back with your feet up, close your eyes and just listen to some soft relaxing music.
- Light some candles and have relax in a nice warm bath.
- It’s tempting to pack in an intense to-do list on your weekends and days off, but in order to feel refreshed and focused when you work it is important to slow down and so less.
It can be very easy to forget to give yourself time to relax, but remember that in order to feel refreshed and focused when you work, it is important to slow down and do less when you’re not working.
