Earlier today on Bellshill Salvation Army Band’s Facebook page I shared some devotions. I’d like to share those devotions with you tonight.
‘Lord, reign in me’ and ‘Lord, be glorified’ – two songs that tell of the desire that every Christian wants to experience – a personal relationship with Jesus which allows them to glorify God through their words and actions.
Over all the Earth You reign on high Every mountain stream every sunset sky But my one request Lord my only aim Is that you reign in me again Lord reign in me Reign in your power Over all my dreams In my darkest hour You are the Lord of all I am So won't you reign in me again Over every thought Over every word May my life reflect the beauty of my Lord 'Cause you mean more to me than any Earthly thing So won't you reign in me again Lord reign in me Reign in your power Over all my dreams In my darkest hour You are the Lord of all I am So won't you reign in me again
In my life Lord, be glorified, be glorified. In my life Lord, be glorified, be glorified today.
This is my prayer for each one of us today, that we will invite God to come into our lives again. That God will reign in us, so that we will glorify Him in all we do, so that others will want to know more about God.
I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever.
