When driving, we can see the road in front of us, and any possible dangers that lie ahead, by looking through the front windscreen or the side-windows. We also have the ability to see where we’ve already been, when we look in our rear view mirror, given us the opportunity to review and assess the road we have already travelled.
Wouldn’t it be good sometimes to be able to in the rear view mirror of our life, so that we can review and learn from our past mistakes and failures? However remember that when we look in the rear view mirror of our car, the further behind us we try and look, the smaller and less in focus the view is – The same applies with life, as events of longer ago, tend to get a little fuzzy and a little out of focus, so be careful when you look back on past events in your life.
Looking back can be beneficial to us, because sometimes it’s only when you get through something and look back at it later, that you realise that God was walking with you through it all, and that is why you made it through.
Remember that when we look in the rear view mirror of our car, the further behind us we try and look, the smaller and less in focus the view is – The same applies with life events too, as they too can get a little fuzzy and a little out of focus the longer ago they occurred, so be careful when you look back on past events in your life to try and learn from them
This Is very true I have proved this since September looking back now I know you and other friends were praying for me.
