Yesterday, in Nothing In Return I asked that we take Nelson Mandela’s advice and do all we can for others, while expecting/wanting, nothing in return. So you might be confused by the title of today’s post as it seems to be suggesting the complete opposite of yesterday’s post…but it isn’t, so let me explain.
Yesterday’s blog post was about how we should treat others, and expect nothing in return. Today’s is a reminder that when we follow Christ, and live our lives for Him, we will gain everything in return, because we will received everlasting life.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
