I can’t #3

Self esteem is typically defined as confidence in one’s own worth or abilities. As a Christian, self esteem could be defined as having confidence that we are who God says we are. In other words, we’re not dependent on our on abilities, but instead relying on God to provide all we need to achieve what we has planned for us.

Have you ever found yourself saying this about yourself, “I tried so hard, but I just wasn’t good enough”?

Don’t give in to that lie, as you are more than enough, and God tells us that in the bible.

Though an army besiege me,
    my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
    even then I will be confident.

Psalm 27:3

We live in a world where many throw words and insults around at without a second thought about the impact their words and actions may have on other.

For those who these words are directed at, they can cut to the bone and destroy everything you desire out of life: love, affection, acceptance, security. At those times when you’re under attack, don’t lash out in anger. Instead be confident that even although others may attack you, you are good enough, and can get through those trying times with God’s help.
