I originally heard the song that these lyrics belong to, on TV, in an advert. I couldn’t actually remember what the advert was for until I found a video of the song on YouTube.
It was the words of the chorus that I listed above that really caught my attention, and made me stop to think…am I as confident as the lyricist was, that no matter what I may face in life, that my faith will see me through?
There have been times in the past when my faith has been at rock bottom, but coming out the other side of those days, and then looking back, I realised God had been holding my hand and leading me through those dark times, back into the light. So now my faith is stronger than ever, and I can say with confidence, that no matter what, my faith will see me through – Can you?
