Father, remove this cup from me. But please, not what I want. What do you want?

When we pray, we can ask God for what we feel we need, which is totally natural. However it’s worth reminding ourselves that the bible tells us that God knows what we want and need, long before we know it ourselves. We therefore just need to trust God to provide all we need.
I therefore give thanks today that God hears every prayer I utter, and every prayer I am unable to utter. I pray today that I will always trust God to provide everything I need, and also answer every prayer.
