Do you find it uncomfortable or difficult to talk about God? I’m sure have all found it difficult to talk about God at some time in our lives. Hopefully though, as our faith grows, and our trust in God blossoms, we will find it easier to talk about God.
These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
Deuteronomy 6:6-7
Some of us find it awkward having conversations with others about God, and our faith. We reserve discussion about God to those times when we’re at church or with our church friends. So much so that we can end up failing to bring God into our everyday lives. Even if that is the case for us today, remember that as our faith grows, and our trust in God blossoms, we will find it easier to talk about God.
I pray today that God will help each of us to speak openly about god and about our faith, so that we may encourage others to come into a relationship with God.
