A week of many things
- celebrated our wedding anniversary;
- played at an Edinburgh Fringe event with Bellshill Salvation Army; and
- returned to work after 6 days annual leave, to have to hit the ground running in an extra busy week, a t was end of sprint/start of new sprint week, meaning lots of ceremonies to run sprint retrospective, sprint estimation and sprint planning as well as sprint review.
In addition to the above I continued working on optimising our Bellshill Salvation Army Band website on our new hosting provider. I also had a number of posts/photos/videos to post on our various social media channels following our event at Edinburgh Fringe last Sunday evening. we’ve had loads of positive feedback from the event, which I know we were a little unsure about how many people would attend and how well received our programme would be.
Still got some more improvements to start working on our newly updated bsab.co.uk website, but I’ll get started on all that in the coming days/weeks.
Busy week, especially as I was in the office two days in a row this week for meetings – How did I ever manage to do 5 days in a row in the office, as this absolutely exhausted me. Good news is I’m only working 4 days next week, and the day I’m off should have been the day I was in the office, meaning I shouldn’t have to go into the office at all next week!
The weather this weekend is excellent so I’ve already been taking advantage of that, by getting some gardening done. I’ll hopefully manage to do some more tomorrow also as it’s forecast to be even warmer tomorrow!
