What do you have your sights set on? What are you aiming to achieve in your life?
As Christians we should have our sights set on heaven. I should be what keeps us going, because no matter what challenges we face in life, they are nothing compared with what Jesus endured on the cross, for us, especially when we consider the joy that’s awaiting us in heaven?
The Bible reminds us that our afflictions are winning us a ‘rich reward for all of eternity’. It means every time we muster a Christ-like response to our trials, our eternal joy grows bigger and happier, so let’s make sure we set our sights on heaven, and live our lives so we can look forward to the joy of heaven.
