Another busy week at work. At least by the end of the week I felt s if aI’d managed to catch-up on the status of all work, even if that did take until Friday afternoon to finally get there!
Still juggling multiple projects as well as support of existing live solutions, and trying to ensure the team focus on our priority work. We were diverted this week somewhat as we had an essential upgrade to do on our development environment so the team had to do a lot of testing to ensure everything was still working as expected, after the upgrade.
Work to upgrade out testing environments (SiT, UAT and Training) is scheduled for Thursday and Friday next week, so hopefully all will go smoothly – the plan is to then scheduled the upgrade on our Production environment in a few weeks.
Spent quite a bit of time working on our Bellshill Salvation Army Band social media presence, as well as starting to think about the work I need to do in the coming weeks for the band’s Wednesday Devotions and the bible thought for during the various programmes the band will present over the Christmas period.
How can it be nearly December already?! Every year I say I’ll get organised for Christmas before December, and every year it’s December before I even realise it!
Another busy week ahead next week as it’s end of sprint, start of new sprint, as well as the essential maintenance on our testing environments.
