Do you know the real story behind why we celebrate Christmas?
We didn’t start celebrating Christmas because of Santa. We didn’t begin exchanging gifts because of Santa either. In fact the real story of Christmas is actually an amazing story of love and sacrifice.
One of my favourite Christmas songs is a song written by Christ Tomlin called ‘Noel’ – It features Lauren Dangle, and tells us of the amazing love story that happened on the very first Christmas morning when the light of the world, Jesus, was born, and how he ultimately came to save us.
Love incarnate, love divine
