We used to leave all the pot and pans, plates and glasses from Christmas dinner, lying in the kitchen so that come Boxing Day, we’d come come down to the kitchen see the mess, and wish we’d cleared everything after Christmas dinner.
Well this year, after Christmas dinner, we did wash all the pots and pans, and put all the plates and glasses in the dishwasher, so the kitchen was in fact nice and tidy and clean when we came down the stair this morning. Result!
So not dishes to be done, so what else is there to day today than have a jammies day. and watch football all day! As for dinner, it’s Boxing Day so that means Christmas Dinner take 2 for us. Our turkey is always too big for just the two of us so we also make sure we buy 2 lots of garnish, potatoes, veg, gravy etc so we can have the a second Christmas Dinner today.
