How to get through your week #2

I’m sure we’ve all had that sinking feeling when it gets to Sunday night, when we remember tomorrow is Monday, and so we’re back at work again. This isn’t just a feeling we can get after time off work, as it can also be how we feel every Sunday night!

So how do you prepare yourself so your head is in the right place for work the next morning? What tips do you have?

I’ll plan to share some tips with you that I have picked up over the years – all are good, though some are easier to implement than others – at least they have been for me. Maybe you’ll have more joy! Good luck!

Tip #2 Avoid looking at work emails at the weekend

No matter what, resist the temptation to look at your work emails over the weekend, as we all need a break, and you are entitled to one.

If you look at them, you know you’ll end up getting stressed, will end up worrying about them all weekend, and you may even respond to them.

Your weekend should be for you, your family and your friends, so spend it doing the things you enjoy. This in itself can have a very positive impact on your work life and your home life.
