How to get through your week #3

I’m sure we’ve all had that sinking feeling when it gets to Sunday night, when we remember tomorrow is Monday, and so we’re back at work again. This isn’t just a feeling we can get after time off work, as it can also be how we feel every Sunday night!

So how do you prepare yourself so your head is in the right place for work the next morning? What tips do you have?

I’ll plan to share some tips with you that I have picked up over the years – all are good, though some are easier to implement than others – at least they have been for me. Maybe you’ll have more joy! Good luck!

Tip #3 Never skip breakfast

I never used to eat breakfast, as it was just an inconvenience that held me up when I was rushing about trying to get myself out of the house in the morning. However after going through a time when I did not need to rush to get out the house in the morning, I started having breakfast again, and I found it really did seem to get my mind more focused and my metabolism going. So it seems breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It doesn’t really matter what you have for breakfast – toast, cereal, porridge, coffee, fruit juice, croissants etc.

So make sure you don’t miss breakfast as it’ll help you get up and running, plus it’ll stop your stomach rumbling by mid morning!
