Earlier today on Bellshill Salvation Army Band’s Facebook page I shared some devotions. I’d like to share those devotions with you tonight.
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:5-6
God created of one to accept Him as our Lord and Saviour, and to tell others of His love. In other words, to glorify Him. We must share His glory with others. We must enjoy being in God’s presence, and display and demonstrate His love for us every day to everyone we meet. When we you tell the truth instead of hiding our faith, or we go the extra mile for a strange, or hug a hurting friend we are fulfilling God’s purpose for our life.
Don’t ever think your life is too ordinary, your world too small, or your work too insignificant to be of use to God, because He has a plan for each one of us, and gives us all we need to fulfil His purpose in our lives.
