In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life,and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Even when God created the world, he thought about light and darkness. Even then he was quick to reassure us that light will always overcome darkness.
In these days when the world can seem like a very dark place, let’s always remember that we can help God’s light will break through the darkness of this world, by sharing God’s message of love for all.
