Earlier today on Bellshill Salvation Army Band’s Facebook page I shared some devotions. I’d like to share those devotions with you tonight.
During this last week, I’ve been reminded of the words of a song that I have sometimes used as a prayer.
Lord, for inward strength I plead,
Strength to meet my deepest need.
Reinforce my faltering ways
With the confidence and grace.

Holy Spirit dwell in me

With thy boundless energy
Holy Spirit dwell in me.
And it is he who will supply all your needs from his riches in glory because of what Christ Jesus has done for us
Philippians 4:19 (Living Bible)
The words of the song and this verse from Philippians remind us that we never have to face anything alone, as God will always give us the strength we need to face every situation head-on.
We pray today that you will allow God to dwell in you, and ‘generate new faith’ in your life.
Generate new faith in me, I would live triumphantly. Let me live as thou hast planned, Willingly at thy command. In me, in me Holy Spirit dwell in me In me, in me With they boundless energy Holy Spirit dwell in me.
