Do you have a pet? Did you know that having a pet is actually good for your mental health? here’s why:

One thing that has always struck me about helping yourself during mental health struggles, is the need for a routine that you follow day after day, and one of thing that jumped out at me in the above image, is that it says having a pet can help with structure and routine.

So if you have a pet, let them help you to overcome your mental health issues. If you don’t have a pet, please don’t go rushing out to get one, as it’s a huge responsibility having a pet that you need to look after and care for, so please weigh up the pros and cons of getting a pet before you take that next step.
