When we’re struggling with our mental health, we can be bombarded with advice from those who think they know what we should be doing to improve our situation. While it’s great that other are trying to help, it can be difficult to know what is good advice and what is less helpful advice.
My personal opinion is that those who have never experienced mental health issues should not be offering advice to those who are experiencing struggles. This is simply my thoughts based on my own experiences.
Given it can be difficult to try to take on lots of guidance when struggling, here’s just 3 suggestions that for me, seem like great advice.
