Earlier today on Bellshill Salvation Army Band’s Facebook page I shared some devotions. I’d like to share those devotions with you tonight.
Who is Jesus?
Given we’ve just celebrated Easter a couple of weeks ago, maybe your thought go to Calvary and all Jesus sacrificed for us on the cross.
Maybe you think about how we refer to Him – Lord, Saviour, King of Kings, Majesty.
They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.
Revelation 17:14 (NIV)
This verse reminds us of Jesus’s sovereignty and his position as the supreme ruler, both in the earthly realm and in the spiritual realm. When we call Jesus ‘Majesty’ it further underlines that Jesus is not just a king, but the King of all kings. It reinforces his divine authority and awe inspiring nature of his love and power.
We often find the phrases ‘King of Kings, Majesty’ is frequently used in Christian music to express praise and reverence for Jesus Christ. It’s a way of proclaiming him as our Lord and Saviour. We encourage you to worship the King of Kings in all you do.
