It’s true leaders don’t necessarily get the best out of their team if they shout at them or impose unreasonable rules on them.
Leadership should be about nurturing team members to encourage them to do the best they can, while still understanding that it’s ok to ask for help or guidance from more experienced members of the team.
The leader is therefore the person who should be the one facilitating the team to do their best while still informing them of any restrictions that need to be adhered to.
