Are you good at waiting or are you impatient and want everything now?

be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord
Waiting….waiting….
I have to be honest and say I am not a patient person, and the idea of waiting, and waiting for anything frustrates me, especially when I don’t know how long I’m going to have to wait.
In Psalm 27:14 the very first statement simply tells us to wait for the Lord. Then the next phrase is the one that I really need to remind myself of, as it tells us to be strong and take heart. So don’t falter. Don’t let your frustrations discourage you. Don’t let impatiences rule you. Don’t stop believing when it feels like God is taking forever to answer your prayers. Instead, remember that God’s timing is perfect. his plan for our lives is always worth waiting for.
