…band practice….or does it?!
Last Wednesday night was actually our last band practice (Bellshill Salvation Army band) of the session. This means my Wednesday nights are now free from band practice until they restart, probably 2nd or 3rd week in August, after the school summer holidays.
That said, there may be no band practice tonight, but we do have a social evening – we’re having a joint social evening with the band and songsters, where we’ll share in a meal before we then share in a quiz.
We have history with band quizzes, so let me explain – During the covid pandemic when we were unable to meet in person to play together, we regularly shared in a quiz night. So tonight we’re having our first quiz night since lockdown times!
Hopefully it should be a good night of food, fun and fellowship.
