Enhanced games

Yesterday I read the following article on the BBC News website: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/athletics/articles/c4grx06x4w3o

I was not aware that there were events being organised that “celebrates the use of performance-enhancing drugs” by the athletes who will compete in the ‘Enhanced Games’. I therefore was astonished to read this article, as it seems not only is this now w ‘thing’, but sadly there are athletes who were well-respected in their field, when they competed without the need for performance enhancing drugs, are now signing-up to participate in the ‘Enhanced Games’.

How has this become a ‘thing’? There’s no even playing-field for the completion, with athletes taking performance enhancing drugs, which may affect them all differently, and may in fact place athletes health and welfare at serious risk. Is it really worth that?

I certainly do not agree with the ‘Enhanced Games’, do you?
