Stronger than we realise Part 5: The strength of knowing who you are

The following Greek Proverb becomes deeply spiritual when read it through the lens of faith.

Know yourself.

Greek Proverb

To know yourself is to know who God says you are: loved, chosen, redeemed, held. When we remember these things, we stand firm, but when we discard or forget these things, that’s when we wander away from God.

Identity is the soil from which strength grows. When you know who you are, you stop living from fear, and start living from truth because of God.

Take a moment today to remember you are God’s, and that changes everything.

A bible for a today about identity and belonging is found in 1 Peter.

You are a chosen people… God’s special possession.

1 Peter 2:9
