There are moments when we go looking for God, and moments when God quietly finds us. Often it’s in the stillness, when we wait for the kettle to boil, the silence when our tv, phone and other devices are all off, that we sense God drawing near to us.
Spending time with God doesn’t always look like long prayers or deep study. Sometimes it’s simply giving Him our attention. A whispered “Here I am.” A heart turned toward Him. A willingness to pause.
When we slow down enough to notice, we discover He’s already been with us all along.
