The world has been in a precarious and dangerous place for quite some time, but in the last week or two, things have escalated even more. There is a great darkness hovering over the world at the moment – will the bombing and wars escalate even further; will more countries be drawn into the wars; will we be thrown in the start of world war 3?
All pretty daunting questions. None of which we can answer.
I guess as the above quote states, we need to remember that the world seems to be an ever increasingly dark place to be, there is hope, because we believe. Not only that but we find reassurance that this is the case in Psalm 18:28
You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.
Psalm 18:28 (NIV)
So however dark the world seems to get in these coming days, remember God can turn our darkness into light.
