Earlier today on Bellshill Salvation Army Band’s Facebook page I shared some devotions. I’d like to share those devotions with you tonight.
Sometimes life leaves us standing in places we never expected to be.
Perhaps it’s a struggle that seems never-ending, a prayer that appears unanswered, a burden that feels too heavy to carry, or simply the weariness that comes from facing another difficult day. In those moments, it’s easy to wonder if things will ever change.
The song ‘Miracle‘ by For King + Country reminds us that our God is still in the business of working miracles. Not always in the dramatic ways we might imagine, but often in the quiet transformation of a heart, the restoration of hope, the strength to keep going, or when we’re surrounded by peace, even when our circumstances haven’t changed.
One of the song’s powerful messages is the invitation not to give up. When we feel broken, forgotten, or stuck, God sees beyond our current situation. He specialises in bringing beauty from ashes, and hope from despair.
The Bible is filled with people who thought their situation was beyond repair. Blind eyes were opened, storms were calmed, and lives were transformed by Jesus’ touch. The same Saviour who performed those miracles is still at work today.
As we move through this week, perhaps the miracle you need is not a dramatic change in circumstances, but a renewed trust in God’s faithfulness. Perhaps it’s the courage to take the next step, the grace to forgive, or the reassurance that you are never walking alone.
Tonight, bring your needs, your worries, and your hopes and fears before the Lord. He sees them all. Even when we cannot yet see the outcome, we can trust the One who holds tomorrow.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Hebrews 13:8
Let’s share a prayer:
Lord, thank You that You are the God of miracles. When we are discouraged, remind us of Your power. When we are weary, renew our strength. When we cannot see a way forward, help us to trust in Your perfect timing. Fill our hearts with hope and faith, knowing that nothing is impossible for You.
Amen
Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.

Have a blessed Wednesday, and may God fill your heart with hope as you look for the miracles He is working, even in the ordinary moments of life.
