It’s Difficult

Life can be hard to cope with at times, particularly when we have a number of difficult or stressful situations to deal with at the same time. As some of you will be aware there are several members of my family that we have real concern about at the moment on top of my own continued health concerns. I’m not tell you these things because I’m looking for sympathy, I’m simply mentioning them to highlight to you that I know and understand how it feels when life gets on top of you.

So how do I cope? Well you may be surprised to hear me say that quite often I don’t cope. Mind you as I mentioned in my post yesterday, First Impressions, I’ve showed plenty of times over the last few years I can “put on a brave face” in public so those around me don’t see I’m falling apart inside.

The best way to cope of course is to put all your stresses and problems in God’s hands and let Him take care of it all. That of course very easy to say, but incredibly difficult do. When things get tough the sad thing is that’s often when we forget to pray, or turn away from God…and that of course is when we need Him most.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28 – King James Version)

Be assured that God will give you all you need when life gets tough. Give all your problems to God today.

Come just as you are (Sydney Staff Songsters)…
