1 Corinthians 13:4-7,13 (New International Version)
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
If you have ever been in love, you will know what a wonderful feeling it is, it lifts your mood, you feel happy inside.
Are you love today? How often do you tell your loved ones how much you love them and how much they mean to you?
I’d encourage you to tell them often as you never know when you’ll never get that chance to do so again. We don’t know what lies ahead of us (which is probably just as well!) so we must make the most of the time we have. Don’t leave your loved ones in doubt that you do love them, tell them regularly.
In similar fashion, if you love God, tell Him often how much you love Him and how much He means to you. He, just like your friends/family on earth, needs and wants you to tell you to tell Him you love Him.
Have a happy Valentine’s Day.
