Mystery

Do you like mysteries?

God works in mysterious ways

In 1 Corinthians 2:6-8 we are reminded of this and the reason why. i.e. God has already determined our path long before we were even born. Here’s these verses from scripture taken from The Message translation:

We, of course, have plenty of wisdom to pass on to you once you get your feet on firm spiritual ground, but it’s not popular wisdom, the fashionable wisdom of high-priced experts that will be out-of-date in a year or so. God’s wisdom is something mysterious that goes deep into the interior of his purposes. You don’t find it lying around on the surface. It’s not the latest message, but more like the oldest—what God determined as the way to bring out his best in us, long before we ever arrived on the scene.

God may seem to work in mysterious ways at time, but we must always remember that it may seem mysterious to us, but God has a plan for us. A plan which he has been trying to direct us along all our lives. We must accept God fully into our lives and allow God to work His mysterious ways through us in the ways He has already planned for us.
