When you travel on holiday to a place you’ve never been to before or don’t know well, it can be a good idea to take a travel guide with you to help you find your way around. The guide book will help you find you way around, highlight places of interest that you may want to visit, as well as giving you some background information about people and the location.
Ever wished you had a guide book for life? Well we do…the bible!
Proverbs 3:5-6 (The Message)
Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.
The bible gives us guidance on every area of our life, covering every kind of emotion we may be feeling. Here’s some examples:
- Faith – Mark 11:22-23
- Death – 1 Corinthians 15:54-55
- Depressed – Psalm 34
- Psychics – Leviticus 20:6
- Work – Ephesians 6:7-9
These are just a few of the “life” topics you’ll find covered in the bible, so whatever your need, whatever you situation, turn to God’s word, the bible, you will find direction and inspiration there.
My guide is loving God with my whole heart and loving my neighbors. The travel can sometimes be murky, lots of twists and turns and bumps in the road.
