God only gives three answers to prayer: 1. ‘Yes!’ 2. ‘Not yet.’ 3. ‘I have something better in mind.”
That may be true, but isn’t it frustrating and annoying when He opts for answer number 2! An isn’t it daunting and often annoying when He opts for answer number 3!
In other words, when we pray we can often find that we get disappointed or annoyed when God doesn’t answer our prayer right then and in the way we requested. Why is it that we think we know better than God when it comes to knowing what’s best for us?
As I’ve said before, it’s because we’re human, and as such we are imperfect and therefore think we know better than God!
To be a true believe in Christ, we must put our full faith and trust in God, and that includes trusting Him to answer our prayers in whatever why He thinks is best for us.
I pray that we may each have the faith and trust in God to truly believe the way He answers our prayers is really what is best for us.
