I’ve talked many times about how God is with us even when it feels as though He’s miles away from us (see He’s Working), but today I’m backing this up by words from the Psalms.
…your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy (Psalm 94:18-19)
When I needed God more than I needed anyone else, He was there for me. Yes, I admit that during my darkest and lowest days I felt as though God wasn’t there for me, but now looking back on those days, I now realise and appreciate that God really was there with me, and without Him I would not have made it through those darkest of times.
Therefore when you’re in need, I’d urge you to turn to God, because He is the one person you can always count on to be there for you and support you.
