Careful

Talent is God given. Be humble.

Fame is man-given. Be grateful.

Conceit is self-given. Be careful.

 Are you talented? Of course you are! God has given each one of us individual talents. So although you may not think you have any talents, I can assure you, you do, you may just not have discovered them yet!

Are you famous? If we’re talking worldwide fame, I guess like me, you’re probably not famous. However, we can be famous in our own community or workplace. Whether you are renowned for what you do, or you’re a complete unknown to most, God can use you, and He does use you and your talents.

Are you conceited? Sometimes those who are aware of their talents or those who have found fame, either locally or world-wide, conceit can often be the bitter virus that grows within you. Don’t let your God-given talent be your own downfall by becoming more focused on yourself than on God. There is no room for conceit in your life if you profess to follow God, so be careful!
