Ordinary Hero

Do you know any ordinary heroes?

If so, what it is about them that makes you consider them to be an “ordinary hero”?

Here’s Christopher Reeve‘s definition of what makes someone an ordinary hero:

A hero is an ordinary person who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles

For me, that definition helped me to realise that, despite my initial feelings that I didn’t know any “ordinary heroes”, I couldn’t have been more wrong.

I hope that as you’ve thought about people you know who are ordinary heroes, you’ve realised that they are in fact so much more any ordinary heroes…they are in fact extra-ordinary heroes!
