Help, an urgent call for assistance.
Here you are in the middle of something important when you hear someone shouting for help…but do you respond?
Hope it’s nothing serious.
Hope it’s not someone I know.
Here, all these thoughts going round in your head.
Hear the cries as you rush to help.
Hope you can get there in time, and make a difference, and offer hope and reassurance.
Hero, that’s the word used.
However, hero’s the wrong word, as we were just being good citizens, looking out for our fellow humans.
How many would stop and help complete strangers in their hour of need?
Help others in their time of need, it’s all we can, and everything we can do.
