Faith and deeds

In James 2:14 (NIV) we read:

What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?

Have you ever come across people who say they are one thing but their actions don’t reflect that? For example, someone who says they are a Christian, maybe even goes to church regularly, but their words and actions are not those you’d associate with a true Christian.

I have certainly come across people like this, have you?

I also know that, despite my best efforts, I fail miserably at being s Christian. Thankfully though, God forgives me, and still loves me, and is still willing to help me be who He wants me to be. So have faith, because even when we fail God, He can still save us.
