When you talk, are your words full of kindness, consideration and encouragement, or are they harsh, rude or even abusive?

Personally, I always think there’s nothing worse than hearing someone use abusive words towards someone else. There’s no need for that, and ultimately what does it achieve other than hurt and upset to the person the words are directed towards.

Ephesians 4:29 NLT
Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.

So watch what you say, because ultimately I’m sure we all want to be encouragers.
