Waiting in vain – That sounds really desperate and pointless doesn’t it?
We should never think we’re waiting in vain when we’re waiting on God responding to our requests. After all God encourages us to be patient, because He will provide for us.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NIV)
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet[a] no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
In His time, In His time, God makes everything beautiful in His time etc …. (Salvation Army)

Give me a vision, a glimpse of your kingdom so I can tell others of you. Give me a mission to fulfil that vision so I can serve others for you. I want to leave the old ways behind. I want to tell of your beauty divine. I want to know your heartbeat and speak of your grace. I will tell of you. I will tell of you. Of your love and grace Lord there is no end and your mercy greatly abounds etc … Give me a season that speaks out with reason and tells of your beauty and love. Give me a passion to run with compassion so others can see you in me. I want to leave the old ways behind. I want to tell of your beauty divine. I want to know your heartbeat and speak of your grace. I will tell of you. I will tell of you. I will tell of you. I will tell of you. (Salvation Army, Sing To The Lord series ? volume ?)
