The following Tweet from General Brian Peddle, the worldwide leader of the Salvation Army, caught my attention a few days ago. So much so that a few days on, I felt I had to share it with you.

It’s completely true isn’t it, Easter will still happen, and still be celebrate by many of us, even though we have to stay at home and ensure social distancing if we do go out of our homes.
I want to reiterate that Easter is definitely not cancelled. Easter isn’t about a few days holidays from school or work; it isn’t about Easter eggs or Easter bonnets; it is however about the Son of God, dying an agonising death on a cross all those years ago, just so you and me would forever be forgiven of our sins.
Easter is still on. Jesus still died on the cross for you.
