Yesterday in A ‘good’ Friday I spoke about how God knew the day would come when in order to save mankind, Jesus would have to die. Today is about reinforcing just how much God, and Jesus, sacrificed at Calvary.
Crucified Laid behind the stone You lived to die Rejected and alone Like a rose trampled on the ground You took the fall And thought of me Above all
If Jesus hadn’t died at Calvary, our lives would be so different, and not in a good way. That’s way I’m glad Jesus died on a cross at Calvary all those years ago. Because of His sacrifice I am now free to live my life in the knowledge that not only does God love me, but He sacrificed his only son so I would always be forgiven of my sins.
God loves each of us. In fact…
