Walking along a dark street or path can not only be frightening, but can actually be dangerous – You can’t see clearly where you’re going, you can’t see if there’s any obstacles in your way or the ground you’re about to stand on is uneven, you also can’t see if anyone is around, or if they may be a danger to you.
Even just a little bit of light from something like a match can be sufficient to briefly light your way, and let you see any obstacles immediately in front of you.
Lighting up your path to allow you to proceed safely is a good thing when it comes to our physical safety. When it comes to our spiritual health, God can shine a light on the way ahead for us – He has planned our lives before us, but if we don’t follow His light, we will not achieve all God has planned for us.
Let God light up your world today, and accept Him into your heart and life. God will light you way when you follow Him, so trust Him to show you the way forward.
