So it’s Saturday today, I think! How’s your weekend going? For me my weekends these days consist of watching football (on the TV) and doing housework or gardening (when the weather is ok), and then not a lot else as we can’t (and don’t want to) go anywhere.
At least since I’m working during the week (from home), I am busy during the day. And then two evenings a week I have my cardiac rehab class for an hour via Zoom (see To Exercise or Not for more details). One thing I am finding is tat I often have no idea what day of the week it is, as every day (especially weekdays) all seem much the same!
We would normally be out at shows or concerts some evenings, and I also had our BSAB band practice on a Wednesday night and worship on a Sunday morning to go to, but none of those things are allowed to take place in person just now.
I’m finding it which strange and difficult not being out anywhere for months, other than health appointments, or to pick up a coffee from the cafe just along the road from us. It’s difficult but it’s necessary, although hopefully it won’t be too long before the Coronavirus pandemic starts to ease and we can start getting back to doing all the things we love again, and with our family and friends.
I hope you are managing to get through these unusual and uncertain days ok. It is tough, but things will improve, hopefully soon.
Take care, and stay safe and well.
