Feedback

At work I’m sure you either have to go through or used to go through an annual review or personal development review or something similar, maybe under a different name. The name of the review doesn’t really matter for the purpose of this blog post, but the purpose of it does – One area of the review is often to identify areas in which we can improve, and also identify things that we’ve done well.

You’re probably wondering where I’m going with this, well let me explain. You may or may not have noticed that you can rate each of my blog posts by giving it a star rating between 1 and 5. So imagine my disappointment when any of my blog posts get a rating of anything less than 3 or 4. Let me honest, it’s disappointing – I understand and acknowledge that everyone doesn’t agree with everything I have to say, or they may think it’s badly written, but it’s confusing when similar posts, about similar topics, get ratings at opposite ends of the rating scale, but no explanation is given.

I know I’m far from perfect, and my blog posts can be a a bit all over the place, and about random topics at times, but they are from my heart, which is all I’ve ever wanted them to be.

Please continue to rate my blog posts. However I would also encourage you to also give me feedback by leaving a comment to tell me

  • what you liked about the post; or
  • what you didn’t like about the post; or
  • whether you agreed or disagreed with blog and why.

Whatever your thoughts, positive or negative, I’d love to hear your feedback.

  1. Her we go again. I see Someone has already rated your blog as 2/5 but even tho u asked for comments about the rating they hide behind their 2/5 rating and say absolutely nothing. Cowards. You’ve asked for feedback, but they don’t even have guts to tell you what they think. Self improvement can only happen when people are honest with us, so how they expect you to learn from your readers if we don’t give comments I’ll never know!

Dot your posts are always very thought provoking and challenging. They make me think about my faith, and whether Im living for Him. They’re also amusing sometimes. I don’t always agree with your point of view, but that’d what reading other peoples blogs is about. We’d be boring if we were all the same and all have the same opinions.

So to everyone who is reading Dot’s blog, leave Dot some feedback as she has requested. Rate low tell her what you didn’t like or didn’t agree with. Rate hight tell her why you loved the post. It’s THAT simple. Leave feedback.

Keep doing what you’re doing Dot, I love your blog. Thank you for challenging and encouraging me in my faith. God bless you.
