Have you ever stopped for a minute, to think about things which give you joy? Well I decided it was time for me to share a few thoughts about the things which bring me joy.
Today in the first of my ‘joy’ posts, I’d let to share with you about the joy of receiving an unexpected gift.
Receiving a gift at any time, brings happiness, but when it’s not a special occasion of any kind for me, and no-one has told me they have a gift for me, it is always a lovely surprise when I receive a gift.
Gifts that are unexpected, always bring a smile to my face, and make me feel grateful for having such thoughtful, caring family and friends. It doesn’t even matter what the gift is, as it’s definitely more about the fact that someone I know has taken the time to think of me, and choose a gift for me, just because.
Over the years, some of the most special and treasured gifts I have ever received are those I received unexpectedly.
