God has plans for us #4

I think it’s fair to say, we’d all like to live healthy, happy and successful lives. That’s probably why, even although we know being a Christian doesn’t mean we are guaranteed a happy, healthy or successful life, we can sometimes become discouraged when life is hard, and the plans we thought God had for us either don’t seem to be coming to fruition or don’t seem to be good for us.

It’s at times like these that we need to take a step back from what we’re facing, and feeling, and remind ourselves of God’s promises to us.

So in a series of posts I will share some verses from scripture which I hope will you will find helpful as they aim to remind us that God plans to provide for our welfare, our future, and give us hope.

In this post, I want to share a reminder from God that he has promised to wipe away every tear from our eyes.

God has planned our future for us. He know how difficult it life can be, and how many tears we shed for those we love who have passed away. But because we know God will wipe away all our tears, we can look forward to the day when we will be reunited with those we love.

He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.

Revelation 21:4 (NLT)

Because of Christ, God has given us everything we need in life, and will continue to provide for us until the day we see him face to face.

Even if you do find yourself going through difficult times, God still has a plan for you. Remember that because of Jesus, God has provided a way for us to live the life he created us to live, to glorify and honour Him forever – I believe that is a good plan for us.
