Life really can be a struggle at times. And during those times, finding joy in anything, including Jesus can be difficult. But stop for a moment and remember God really can answer prayer!
He’s answered my prayers before. When we believe in God, we find joy, and he will answer our prayers.
There’s a world just outside without hope and full of disillusion, Where man fears his neighbour and trust is a word from the past; What message can we bring to this world with all of its confusion? What truth can we give to man that surely will last? All around empty lives living out a meaningless existence, Their hearts scarred with hatred, cry out needing someone to care; But only God can bring a change in lives so hopeless: And we are the proof that God really can answer prayer. We are filled with the joy of the Lord, And the joy of the Lord is His love. We are filled with the joy of the Lord, Through His Spirit sent from above. To fulfill God’s call we share with all The good news that God can forgive In our hearts He can enter and live. God has called us to service for Him, yet we are all unworthy; For we have all sinned and we have all fallen away. But God, in love, through Christ, extends to us forgiveness; We stand in His strength and answer His calling today. We are filled with the joy of the Lord, And the joy of the Lord is His love.
